Underrated baseball movie. Also one of the only ones that used real life player in name an appearance.

The Twins opponents were all real life MLB'ers. Mickey Tettleton, Tim Raines, the Mariners, etc.

Absolutely terrible movie.

From the terrible music to the fuckin guy from 30 something being a believable MLB player. Just trash.

The ONLY good part of it is my guy Jason Robards.

I do appreciate they got Jr. though.

From bad political takes to bad movie takes.

This movie is awesome. The scene with Billy when he proves to the GM that he knows enough about baseball strategy to manage is fantastic, as is the one where Billy deals with his diva pitcher. John Ashton and Denis Farina are great in their respective roles as well, and Ashton especially helps ground the movie.

I enjoyed it as a youth. It was definitely better than Rookie of The Year & Angels In The Outfield which all were released around the same time.

Yeah. Anytime John Ashton has a character named Billy as his partner, its good stuff.

All 3 are bad. Rookie of the Year is better though based on Daniel Stern alone.

Angels in the Outfield was an assault on America

Considering that is an actor and a righty, I'm gonna say no.

All are more true to life than Moneyball.
