It is especially annoying because Barack doesn't flaunt his race. There must come a time when he is stopped being viewed as the "first black president" and starts being viewed simply as THE president. It's that whole judge him by the content of his character business.

Unfortunately for Barack, I don't think people will ever look at him in a different light. But then again, it is definitely something to be proud of.
