I used to play fantasy football. I decided a few years ago to stop because it changed the way I watched the game. However, I never could understand why you would go through the process of building your team and then not be able to decide on your own starting lineup. I guess I was like Bill Parcells, I wanted to shop for the groceries and cook the meal. I never needed or wanted someone else to pick who I played.
Yes it changes the way you watch the game, but i think it's only an enhanced experience. It makes it more fun and interesting. You can get information (injuries, weather conditions) on these shows that can help you make your own decisions on who to play, that can be helpful. Yes, deciding on who to start in a dome, where everyone is healthy and playing against the exact same defense, would be easy. But how often do guys on someones bench outscore their starting player?? Not at all uncommon.
As far as Boyd winning anything Scooter....No-the programs will continue to air as they have, so he LOSES. But for me and the millions of other FF enthusiasts, we will continue to enjoy this programming, so we all WIN.
