I heard that. Apparently he also believes Mike Shanahan's only goal in developing RGIII is to prove him wrong.

Heard that as well. Totally awesome. It was like Esiason was suffering a bout of paranoid psychosis in response to Shanahan's game plan.

I'm Boomer Esiason with a CBS Sports Minute. You may have noticed the latest batch of Bud Light commercials on this opening weekend. Well, guess what: the commercials noticed you, too. That's because they've been encoded with an imperceptible sine wave that interacts with the wireless routers in your family room and reports your internet habits to Anheuser-Busch, the NFL, and the federal government, who have launched a tripartite initiative to blackmail the U.S. population into never doing anything but watching football. You think that's a great way to avoid the honey-do list until the man in the black suit comes to your door, telling you that if you don't buy NFL Sunday Ticket and watch the Jaguars play the Raiders 24 hours a day, everyone's going to know about the time you googled "beastiality," yeah, with an "a." And how do I know this? God.

Seriously, how in the world can CBS Sports Radio think that the CBS Sports minute segments are good? I didn't think it was possible, but they are getting worse. I don't know if these guys write their own copy or what, but it is horrible. Doug Gottlieb & John Feinstein both sound terrible on the air, & the content of their segments is bad. I cant wait to hear the overnight programming that will replace Yahoo Sports Radio.

Half the time they stutter and halt their delivery. They're on the Krusty the Clown 1-take Program.

These are awful.

Doug Gottlieb is just weird. Sometimes he whispers, sometimes he speaks a mile a minute, sometimes he has more pregnant pauses than Dan Patrick.

I'm.

Doug Gottlieb.

A lot of people.

Have been talking.

And.

They agree that.

Sports.

He always sounds as if he's doing it live, or maybe after one take he just says fuck it...

The worst part about these Sports Minutes or whatever is the ending. It's pretty much the worst effort I've heard or read at trying to end with some kind of profound statement. These are literally the worst things ever. I'd rather hear the cars for kids commercial.

All the Sports Minutes are is "Terry's Roar of the Day" with less stuttering and a lot more gay.

This is it. It sounds like he does it in one take for better or worse, then he spends the next 45 minutes composing his next thought to half-assedly lay down.

Doug Gottlieb was crapped on WYC yesterday. It is hard to believe that these sports updates are this bad.
I am looking forward to listening to Scott Ferrall again though.

Somebody needs to tell Doug Gottlieb that it's pronounced hundred, not hunnerd.

Fuck man did anyone else hear that sports irony just a bit ago? It was Gottlieb and it was the worst one yet. I'm actually considering trying to give 1000 a bit more of a shot solely because of these. They are that fucking bad.

These CBS Sports updates are horrid. Yesterday's Gottlieb sounded like a first time caller on WTC; correcting Bobby V on the definition of "going behind someone's back."

I used to hate the Sporting News Radio overnights/weekends; but Gottlieb is has gotten me longing for that bad radio again......
