Pitt = Ditka = good player, good coach, but still unfortunately a dumbfuck. That is all.

Until I read your post, I actually liked Pitt and their fans more than Penn State. Now I hope the Nittany Nitwits destroy the Pits.

A week out of the tournament and GoIrishND is still as fucking stupid and insufferable as he was when his team was still in it.

I didn't see any of you predicting Wisconsin by 10. Pretty damn close to the outcome.

For the record, I never posted during this year's tournament while ND was still active -- only after they got beat.

I like how pittnike and others try to distance themselves from South Bend as much as possible, as if there's no Chicago influence over here.

> Site of past AAG Blue Sox vs. Rockford Peaches games
> Former home of the South Bend White Sox (MLB Chisox affiliate)
> Site of numerous Bears games at ND stadium, most recent
in '86 (Bears vs. Bills)
> Current home of the South Bend Cubs (MLB Chi. Cubs affiliate), including new multi-million $$ practice facility.
> Highly likely South Bend whitewater and ND athletics field/stadium venues for proposed Chicago Summer Olympics (bids)

There's a lot of past, current, and potential Chicago activity over here. You can ignore it, but it's always going to be there.

Forgot to mention all of those past DePaul and Loyola of Chicago basketball games played at ND -- both former regular opponents. And of course many other connections -- Ray Meyer bagged peanuts at the old Fieldhouse while an ND student in addition to being a notable player. This history hasn't even reached the 'net (his wiki entry doesn't even mention his college play).

The point is that there's a lot of Chicago-South Bend-ND history. I don't care if pittmike wants to ignore the fact and shit all over South Bend and Irish fans, etc. Even today it was announced that the Irish will be visiting the Illini at their newly-renovated arena (Big10-ACC challenge) -- you can't get away from ND that easily. Sorry.

That officially South Bend Indiana is NOT a suburb of Chicago?
