The HVAC dude we work with is from one of the northern countries in Africa. About 15 years ago an acquaintance told me an absolutely filthy joke about Puerto Ricans, he almost had a heart attack when I told him that I was Puerto Rican. He thought that I and my son were like him, Mexican. (We're not) When I told him I was joking, he regained the color in his face.

I had the power to get him fired in times of budget cuts. It never would have dawned on me to even bring it up however.
