If Internet Explorer was that horrible, the free market would sort it out and it would die.

You could say that's already happening...IE is hemorrhaging market share to Chrome and other browsers...but as long as Microsoft releases Windows, there will be a version of IE tied to its hip.

That's kind of happening though so that is good. If we keep on spreading the word we'll get all but the most stubborn people to realize how damaging it is.

Why would anyone use IE? I'm a Mozilla/Firefox guy. Its great. I think Chrome blows.

IE was good at the very, very start....then Microsoft smashed Netscape (among others) by including IE in every Windows OS. No competition didn't exactly spur MS into making it competitive or innovative. That said, the most current version is alright, just kind of there with no real reason to use it over anything else.

The Xbox One's software is still a work in progress but the Feb and March updates have gone a long, long way in straightening everything out. Hardware wise it has been solid, same with the PS4.

Chrome's good, but it isn't w/o it's flaws. For instance, it has major issues w/ Flash.

Holes or no holes, stop using IE. Chrome sucks too. Firefox/Mozilla is the best & safest browser.

I've run into a few issues where things don't render properly in Chrome, but it's definitely way better than IE. It probably looks the best out of all the browsers too. I'm a Bigfan

i know my battery/power settings are screwy on my laptop at home, but I almost always have Youtube opened on Chrome...and every now and then, with the computer closed and everything, the video will just randomly playing
i know because of the battery settings its not truly "off" just because it's closed but i'm not sure what makes it randomly start playing a video that's paused or stopped

That's too much power to give to Google. For the same reason I don't use gmail. They've already got the OS on my phone and they control the search results I get. That's more than enough power. Spread the fucking wealth.

That may be because the website you're visiting hasn't adapted to chrome. There are many websites that specifically ask that you only visit them using Firefox or, sadistically, IE, and perhaps other websites with similar issues are not kind enough to post a notice.

It's not a frequent thing, I'd say it's even rare. Just something I see from time to time.
