Drafting the best players is more important than staying "true to your team". It's about winning. I have Jordy Nelson on 2 of my teams and he's been a beast. You bet with your head, not your heart. Aaron Rodgers is a top 3 QB.

He was a level 25 Cleric elf with 154 HP, +19 DEX, +35 INT, +44 WIS, +66 CHA, but a mere +33 in STR (i didn't need to fight). Heal was +48. i did have a greatsword though. brass armor. name was Airake.

Oh those campaigns were epic...

our group had a shadowrun chapter (which was about 4-5 guys playing), while there were about 6-8 playing battletech, and then the rest of us would meet separately for d&d. had the coolest DM ever.

Steve is such a nerd. And dumb. FF is 90% luck, and yet you base a portion of your self worth on how "good" you are at it.

I won 1,800 in a 12 team league two years ago, and it was due completely to injuries and timing, not some magical football analysis. I won a few leagues over the years and quit because it's boring.

I drive my son most Friday's to play some game called The World of Magic to play in a weekly tournament at some storefront card shop next to Walker Brothers on Waukegan. I don't want to be the one to break it to him that it is a nerdfest. On the way home, I asked him about whether the guys who play in the tournaments with the facial hair were college age guys just having some fun. He said they were older than that and that they reeked of nerdom and body odor. Perceptive kid.

I played D and D as a kid so I understand these things are both nerdy and fun.

I drove him a couple of weeks ago and saw some girls walking in as I was leaving. I asked him if the girls played Magic as well. He laughed and said that they were lost and came in for directions
