For endorsing Hillary Clinton. I knew he was a fraud.

You'd bitch if he didn't.

I'm starting to buy what Scorehead is selling about the three wisemen.

It's unfortunate that he is endorsing Hillary.

He was a fraud when he soldout the Socialist movement. He was a fraud when he decided to run as a Democrat and not an Independent. This is pretty tame by his standards.

He said all along he'd endorse HRC. He said that the short-term goal was to prevent Trump from becoming President.

I told you he would. I would have had to admit I was wrong about him if he didn't.

He should have endorsed Jill Stein. Hillary is everything that he claims he doesn't believe in but he wants her to be president.

What he wants, at the very least, is not Trump.

He's clearly not a true believer.

Honestly, it's just beyond me how anyone who supports Hillary can cast stones about anything. She exemplifies the word "fraud"... or "fake"... or "disingenuous"... or "Satan." Bernie clearly walks the walk in some ways. Hillary would sell out her own mother to help herself.

You're a more principled man than Bernie. #Leash2020

If Bernie had run as an independent he'd be the male version of Jill Stein. He would not have gained any traction and he knew it. If he were principled he would never have done that. The Democratic establishment saw through him and it's probably one of the reason they never supported him.

His bitterness after losing in the primaries also says a lot about him

isn't this just some kind of formality that bernie's doing to formally stay on the up-n-up with the DNC? i mean bernie still hasn't conceded or even suspended his campaign yet, has he? i thought the whole general idea of him sticking around after it became mathematically-unpossible for him to secure the nomination was that maybe just maybe he thought hillary COULD end up getting in some sort of shit re: the e-mails (read: the whole "treason" thing that we are to pay no attention to. HEY LOOK THERE'S A RACEWAR OVER THERE! CHECK IT OUT! DON'T WORRY ABOUT THIS NON-STORY HERE!!!) and then hey whaddya know uncle bernie's still up and running so if the DNC needs another post-hillary candidate well hey now look who never stopped being ready to roll!

IIRC, haven't there been a bunch of stories where the media goes out of its way to "hope" that sanders supporters don't go crazy with protests/demonstrations/violence in the wake of feeling like their voices weren't heard via "LOLHILLARYWINS" and this has led to said media outlets almost str8up begging bernie to please step down and go away for the sake of order and stability? it seems like you wouldn't need all of this if bernie was truly suspending/ending his campaign and throwing all of his weight behind hillary, so maybe this endorsement is truly just a formality for the sake of keeping up appearances? </AboveMyPaygrade>

IIRC, wasn't bernie elected to the senate as an independent as opposed to a democrat? i was always under the assumption that he just recently/ish embraced democrats (or formally becoming one) JUST so he could try and run for president without having to deal with the inherent futility of running as an independent. when he used to do his weekly friday "brunch with bernie" hour on the thom hartmann show he was always introduced as "america's senator" and championed as being an independent, so that's why i was always kinda ??! when i found out that he was running for president as a democrat. i guess he's essentially a DINO like he's some kind of prehistoric dog a la the flintstones, eh?

He wants his movement to continue, no matter what happens to him. He's stated that repeatedly. Yes, he would have liked to have won the nomination, but he's pointing to a longer process. He's sticking around to play a role in it.

Sanders is adopting a "lesser of two evils" strategy by endorsing Clinton. This is what many/most Americans do when they vote in presidential elections, and it helps explain why our democracy is in a state of rapid and perhaps irreversible decline.

So what would Bernie be doing if Trump weren't the nominee?

If it was Rubio or Kasich what is he doing?

No. I said he was a fraud from Day 1. MANY of his supporters truly believed this and they all owe me an apology.
