Seriously? There's about 8 threads on this. Don't Bigfan the board with every stupid thought that pops into your head and start a new topic.

Have a wonderful Sabbath.

Given the rash of idiots in the news regarding this game, reading wouldn't appear to be a requisite skill.

Hundreds of million people play the game. Of course a few are going to kill themselves in the process.

Seems like we need some pretty stringent anti-Pokeman laws put into place then.

Hopefully some of them are board members.

Is Favre Fan an old time Pokemon guy from back when the cards were hot? This is a brilliant idea putting this shit on phones now that Pokemon babies are all growed up.

A friend of mine made a shitload of money selling Pokemon cards back in the day. The guy he worked for was a real hustler. He managed to buy an entire trailer load of Pokemon cards, just cases and cases of them, from the manager of a Walmart. I guess the Walmart guy figured he could just get more and this guy was willing to pay a premium so he moved the entire lot. What the Walmart manager didn't know was how important it was to have the cards four or five days earlier than everyone else. In regular distribution channels controlled by Wizards Of The Coast everyone was allowed to begin selling the cards on the same day. But my guys got the cards from Walmart about a week before the release date. They sold the shit out of them. My buddy was calling his customers who told him it was impossible that he had them already. He asked if they wanted him to email a picture.

Nah, I never played the gameboy version or whatever as a kid. It just seems like a fun enough game to play with multiple people while bar hopping or on the weekends or whatever.

This is what it's come to .... people going to bars to play frigging Pokemon ... not pool, not darts, not Foosball, not Golden Tee, not pinball, hell not even a few hands of Euchre over at the corner table ... Pokemon.

Ye gods.

I guess I just don't understand the criticism in your post. How is it demonstrably different from playing pool or darts or one of those trivia tablet games at bars? It's not like IMU and I are sitting at a bar for hours not talking to eachother staring at our phones. It's easy to play the game and maintain a conversation at the same time.

^^^ That person has, in some form or fashion, been made to think they're terribly clever ... which is far more unfortunate than any of this Pokemon nonsense.

I suppose you could also do that over at the hairdresser's salon too .... seems like a pretty fruity endeavor for a proper bar atmosphere.
I don't actually really care ... I think it's a nice story in a vast sea of shit-tales this year to be honest.

If you know of a salon with two or more Pokestops, I'm there.

DB just wants to retain his claim to individuality.

Caught a 1017 CP Slowbro last night. First time I'd even seen something over 600 CP.
