Easily the stupidest thing we've ever debated on this board. The whole conversation needs to die by fire. |

IMU and spanky going 6 pages on why people order fast food will never be topped. It's like the Joe DiMaggio 56 game hit streak of message board arguments. |

What? The only measure by which football is "more popular" is TV ratings. American Idol is more popular than baseball too. More people attend baseball games. How big a deal do you think baseball would be if somehow they played 16 games in the fall/winter? They'd have to play the Yankee/Red Sox and Cubs/Cardinals games at Rungrado First of May Stadium and it might not be big enough. |

It may be a fact that most fans haven't been to a game but that does not mean that they are not fans. That's what you're saying here. That they're not fans if they don't go to games. Which is... very stupid. |

Jorr, maybe I've been reading you wrong over your 6 years here. I'm coming to the conclusion that you don't believe any of the zany shit you say and you're running an EPIC troll on us all and you're fucking brilliant. That's got to be it. Got to be it. Gotta be. |

Who would have more people attending? |

Jorr baseball is more popular than football argument is much worse than the W/L record argument. A sport that plays 10x as many games is deemed more popular due to have more people attend games. Not per game, just overall total. If that's the case than Hockey is also more popular than Football. |

Jbi11s wrote: JoRR, Brick, and LTG are the triumvirate of needless debate. It takes more than one guy to debate, doesn't it? Or are we going to ignore the other debater like we choose to ignore the other pitcher who is pitching better than Jose Quintana in most of his games? |

Nobody even knows what American football is in places like Japan or Venezuela. Football is a sport designed for American television. Stop kidding yourself. |
