What a sad state of affairs that a Sarah Silverman-type celeb gets to speak.

It's no better than Scott Baio except the bush is unshaven.

Agreed...fuck this hack, I'm voting Stein but inching closer to Trump by the day because of people like her..Trump winning would teach these clowns a lesson and maybe we get a legit 3 party system.

Stunts like this by people like Silverman definitely drive votes Trump's way....who would want Sarah Silverman speaking for them?

Almost as sad as having a guy from Duck Dynasty speak. You know, the guys who think men should marry fifteen year olds.

Well, I can see her point. She was an outspoken Bernie supporter but she sees Hillary as a lesser evil than Trump who is the most evil person in the world in her eyes. I think a lot of people see it that way. But it's become clear that Hillary is nearly as reviled as Trump and when you exhort others to support her, there's a good chance the reaction will be negative, even at her own convention.

No worries. CofF has spoken. Trump has no shot. Everyone just needs to calm down.

Look at you useful idiots! They had their precious Communist Regressive movement co-opted and destroyed in the span of a day. There will be no "long term goals" the goal of this week was to put the steak into the heart of the Bernie and Warren Movement, buy them out and then cut bait. Period. Their two speeches confirmed that they are and will be "Good Solders" until the end of days.

It worked.

Guess what is coming down the pike if Hillary wins (before she dies or is pardoned or is having a coughing fit in an alley way) TPP will be pushed through, open borders will crush whatever hopes the middle/lower classes had of a rising wage and a higher standard of living, big banks will grow ever more powerful, organized labor will fade further away, there will be a multitude of new wars spanning the globe, there will be no single payers system, college won't be "free," the new DNC chair won't be a fellow comrade of the revolution and whatever rule changes that were made or promised won't be in place in 4 years.

That whole thing is over. Dead and buried next to Vince Foster and Bill Clinton's rape victims.

But, nothing better than a bunch of brutally unfunny, elitist, fake Jews sitting up on stage lecturing the crowd and getting booed and heckled. Silverman looked liked she wanted to cry, I was hopping she got hit by a falling spot light.

She's a Democrat. Bernie Sanders proved to be a charlatan after not trying to win and endorsing Hillary.

Funny you should mention that. I met him about 17 years ago in Los Angeles. He was one of the nicest and polite people we ran across.

Possibly the problem right there. She identifies as a Democrat? Party loyalty? Idiotic concept.

That sums it up nicely.

I liked Susan Sarandon's tweet. "I'm out".

I am always amused by people who blindly vote for one party when their needs/views are always ignored by that party.

I know what you are saying but are those people supposed to vote for a party that does not even pay lip service to their needs?

Yes or don't vote. Then maybe the party paying lip service will actually do something to improve conditions and get your vote.

That doesn't make sense. Basically every election Democrats will vote as Republicans and Republicans would vote as Democrats. Not voting would be worse.

It makes perfect sense. Why should you continually vote for a person who never does anything to improve your area or situation?
