You must not be a fan. If you were you would already know that not watching on television will not hurt the NFL financially in any way. Enjoy your boycott!

I'm not boycotting, but I do find myself watching less and less as the quality of the play has decreased since the new CBA went into effect. The limitations on practice combined with the rule changes have harmed the game.

I'm just finding better uses for Sunday afternoons when the Bears aren't on my local TV.

What he said. The product sucks. I don't need to boycott, i just don't have any desire to watch a poor product. Those Nike shitty Thursday Night Football Uniforms last year was the icing on top.

Yeah, not boycotting, just bored by it all.

Same here;

The Monday and Thursday night games are just bad
Games take too long --- too many commercials
Pendulum has swung too far in favor of offense. If I wanted to watch arena football I would
Similarly, I get why you want to keep quarterbacks from getting hurt but guys now can barely touch the QB without getting flagged.

I am not boycotting either but I watch a mere fraction of NFL action compared to 5 years ago. You could add up all my viewing last year and it would be less than 4 games total. Why? Combination of what everyone has already said plus the lying, hypocritical commissioner, the overall greed of the NFL, and the coaching culture.

Having a boycott means someone is angry and intentionally not watching. My decline in watching has come more from apathy. I don't miss it at all. Nascar sundays, MLB playoffs, and the NHL starting in October gives me enough sports to watch. I watch more college football than the NFL.

It's funny to me that the first four replies here don't seem to realize the nomination wasn't directed at them.

Miller talked about this last night. Apparently, it will be worse this year with guys getting called for the most accidental hits to the head with their arms and hands.

Who is boycotting the NFL? Over CTE or something else?

I still love football but I miss the 90's. I long for the days of Steve Atwater decapitating recievers.

Some folks on the left are because they feel Kaepernick is being blackballed.

Well he can't very well be whiteballed.

Boycotting football on the eve of the (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky Era is foolhardy beyond compare.

He arrived just in time for the dying gasp of professional football. A shame, really.

When you combine them with the woke crowd it makes you want to blow your brains out.

Definitely some problematic folks on that side. Still not as annoying as the people who call Kaepernick a thug and shit like that

Agreed but go back further to Lester Hayes.

I don't have many of them as friends and none as family so they're easier to ignore.

Such a profound statement does not require punctuation.

It's even more annoying that more than half the people demanding that you boycott don't like football and the remaining 30 or 40% were casual fans.

Not sure. He stopped playing and posting. Maybe he got lost in the transition.

No one is actually boycotting football (even those who claim to be). In reality they are just watching less because the product is stale and claim they are boycotting. If the product was still good they would be watching as they used to.

I loved football growing up and want to love it again. I hope they fix the issues with quality of play and the rule changes. I want a good on field product to enjoy.
