Bagels' friend was correct in that the Misfits hardcored it out obscuring any melodies. Shit got dangerous near the end. There were definitely crowd control issues. I was glad I got the fuck out of there before they finished. Best band I saw that I didn't really know was Wonder Years. It was kind of strange to see the lead singer begin weeping in the middle of a rock show over his friends who are hooked on Oxy. But I guess that's emo for you. Kathleen Hanna is a pain in the ass. I had to walk away from her psycho-feminist screeds on women as objects of beauty. I've got news for her, nature and biology have objectives that are greater than her pseudo-intellectual pursuits and third wave feminist bullshit, like the propagation of a fucking species. Sleater-Kinney made a far stronger feminist statement without saying a fucking word. |
