Head of the Commission on Presidential Debates doesn't think moderators should act as fact-checkers. Not that this wasn't already known, but what is the point then? These aren't debates. They're simultaneous press conferences. Balderdash. |

It's fascinating in a sense. One candidate is telling you he's gonna tell you what you want to hear, facts be damned. And that position not only isn't immediately dismissed as insane, but is embraced by the committee overseeing the debates. |

My belief is if something is clearly false a moderator should say something. They're supposed to be journalist. |
