No way. He has had a moratorium on negative Cubs posting whilst they are still alive in the playoffs.

And a permanent moratorium on interesting posts.

My favorite anti-Cubs post was when Frank mentioned after the Cubs lost game 3,they would have to win out to match his beloved 2005 Sox.

I bet he couldn't wait to pull that from his holster.

Yep...if the Cubs win it all, but lose more than 1 game, it won't be as good as 2005. The narrative is already in place.

Well, right now it is equal. Better sweep the next two series though!

It's like this though. I'm happy with my marriage. I can be happy for others who are happy in their marriage too! All people saying 2016 will do is remind me how awesome 2005 was.

Multiple championships will be won by the Cubs in the next several years and we can just throw dirt over 2005 and the forgotten south side team.

I've been waiting 40 years. The fanbase has been waiting 100+ years.

Does anybody really give a crap how they do it? Just win the damn Series.

The 1985 Bears were cool.

But, I don't really need the style points here.

Agreed. Just win.

Being historically dominant is nice but not needed.

Four complete games to win the pennant? Now that's style!

Yeah, at this point, I don't need dominance...I'll take 8 more games like last night.

2005 was great for the city and the Sox...can't take that away from them...lots of great moments too. If the Cubs win, there will just be more great moments...Sox fans worry too much about 2005's legacy.

Oh, and fuck off.

Four World Championships in a row will be stylish as well. I just don't care how they go about it.

Why worry about something that isn't worth worrying about?

The legacy of ending the baseball curse in Chicago with a historic run will live forever.

That really was historic.

I remember stuff about that run like it almost happened recently.

I'm not a Sox fan, but even for me, some things about that season are stuck in my mind...like sitting on the toilet and reading in the Sun-Times that they just made some guy named Bobby Jenks their closer.
