A little title I made up a few years back for people who Make $1 and then proceed to Spend $2.
Just got reminded of this by a family acquaintance of ours who maxxed out their credit cards, bought useless crap on Amazon at the drop of a hat, stupidly bought suckerbet timeshares that they get foreclosed on and lost their house, then filed BK.
Now, they are out buying new cars, renting a house that they cannot afford on a household income of under $100K, and, well, they are just back at it, spending money they do not have.
ONE time the husband asked me what I thought of some moves he was making, and I straight out told him that he should think about saving something for later on down the road, but he didn't heed the word.
The wife is just as nuts. They are not even Catholic, but when they found out we were sending our daughter to a Catholic school - BOOM - all of a sudden their kids are put into a Catholic school. Pretty awesomely comical.
I don't like to laugh at them when they do stupid stuff like this, but both the husband and wife have always been like this. The hubby was driving a leased Lexus when he worked at BestBuy in college. Dude just has to constantly live on the financial edge, showin' that MaxBling, I guess!
Oh well, just another example of those M1S2s just M1S2-ing it up!!!
