The White Sox have to tank. It's how you win. It's a shame that people like Theo set the precedent here that you can't win by trying to win without tanking for a long time and now so many teams are doing it but this is what it is. I hope you enjoyed the World Series title that ruined the game of baseball! |

Having faith that the Sox front office can pull it off is easy to question. Unlike Theo, they have never done anything like this before and there is no reason to believe they will identify enough of the right players and develop them properly and WAIT long enough before bringing them up, rather than giving in to impatient fans clamoring for them. All we know is they are trading away their best players and will not contend for a few seasons.

I just feel awful for those older Sox fans who may not have years to wait to see a contender. Every season is sacred to them. |
