Not the best way to end your press conference career. Hopefully after you're out office you'll give your honest opinion and maybe you felt you were obligated to say this today.

The mainstream media, as well-mannered "meritocrats," adored Hillary. She was Mother to them, especially to women who grew up during the Clinton years.

It sounded like he was going out of his way not to criticize the incoming president. I thought the point he was making was that the media spent too much time covering hacked emails instead of covering issues that will have and impact on the country over the next 4 to 8 years.

Some guy was laughing at the notion of Trump requesting a Russian hack. There is a direct quote of Trump requesting a Russian hack. If the hack was or wasn't carried out is immaterial to that point.

Taking Trump seriously when it suits you. I think it was pretty obvious he was joking and not in secret meetings with the Ghost of Stalin and Big Bad Vlad.

But what did actually happen was Obama and Josh Earnst lying about Trump being intimately involved with the alleged Russian "hack." That's reckless, dangerous and does a lot of damage to our democratic institutions, our electoral process and our founding principals.
