Toddler killed in Arkansas road rage incident

The grandmother was at a stop sign when a confrontation ensued, police said.
A motorist behind the woman grew agitated that she was not moving quickly, Little Rock Police Department spokesman Lt. Steven McClanahan said.

He started honking his horn. He got out of his car and fired shots inside the woman's car, police said.
Police told CNN at least one of the bullets hit the boy.

The woman then drove to the JC Penney in west Little Rock, where police received a call that the child passenger was shot.
The boy was found to have fatal injuries and transported to Arkansas Children's Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

I'm interested to know what facts we are missing. It's possible that the grandmother introduced violence into this situation. If so the man's actions were at the very least approaching reasonable.

Not sure if you're bringing my Mixon thoughts into this or Juice's. If it's me then you know that's a tad bit unfair, to say the least.

It would be a better comparison if the grandma had taken a shot at the killer first that grazed his cheek.

It's fine if you want to get snarky but at least do a better job of pointing out how one's position on the road rage story contradicts one's thoughts on the Mixon story. The two aren't even remotely close to being similar.

How do we know they aren't?

Look, I don't have a position on the Mixon case. It's obviously a disturbing video but from the video here's what we know:

1. video: Mixon confronts/approaches the woman and her friend; verbal altercation ensues
2. video: Woman pushes Mixon
3. video: Mixon flinches at woman
4. video: Woman slaps Mixon in the face
5. video: Mixon punches woman in the face
6. video: Mixon flees

Both laid hands on each other - that's all I think is being overlooked.

People don't hurt other people for specious reasons.

Who said that? Of course that happens.

Like I said before. I'm interested to know what facts we are missing. This guy's actions might be justifiable.

One case has videographic evidence that clearly outlines what transpired, the other doesn't. One case involves murder, the other doesn't. It seems you're implying someone critical of general public opinion against Mixon on the basis of available evidence should therefore be also critical of the opinions against the unidentified shooter in the road rage case which also involves the murder of an unarmed toddler - it's a non sequitur.

I'm not saying anything except let's wait until more evidence comes out. Could possibly be grandma's fault the kid got dead. If so, people are unfairly maligning this guy.


Maybe this guy is a murderous asshole. Maybe he isn't. At the very least we have to see both sides of the argument.

Well, if you want to equate the actions of Mixon and the shooter, that's on you.
