Since they went to this playoff nobody gives a rats ass about these other games! Since they fucked all the conferences up there are now rivalry games. It's like having March Madness were only 4 games have any meaning.....trash this and go back to the old way....at least it had people talking college football

If you don't have 8 wins you shouldn't be in any bowl games, way too many shitball schools competing. I haven't watched one yet, I'm very interested in the final 4 though and FSU v Michigan.

My bowl season is in the bonus round. My big game was Northwestern despite the record. I'm happy a local school won something.

The playoff has nothing to do with the bowls meaning nothing. The Pinstripe Bowl would be fucking awful either way.

I don't get it. These games didn't mean anything before the BCS and plus 1 championship. I don't know why they seem less interesting now.....but they do.

The fact that you moved the goalposts in that discussion tells the whole story.

You made an incorrect statement because you haven't watched him play. You can't win them all.

When the MVP votes are tallied, he will get some consideration. And then you will apologize to me. Until then, stick to the horses.

It's a guaranteed slate of games with (almost) all teams with winning records. Being a Cyclone fan, I don't get much of that throughout the year, so this is a treat.

Bowls are good when the teams are interested. The Pinstripe looked like a good game yesterday with both teams interested and a good amount of fans.

I like the bowls. It's some fun football during a lazy week.

This is the same dumb thread started by the same dumb poster every year.

Of all the things in life to complain about, he picks college bowl games. They have zero effect on his life, and the games are easy to avoid, if he really wants to do so. Some people just like to complain.

The way people drop out of the Pro Bowl, I would think Stafford still has a pretty good chance of playing in that horseshit game.

Nobody cares about the Pro Bowl, and it has nothing to do with Walt's original false premise. He is just continuing to move the goal posts in a transparent, yet unsuccessful attempt to save face.

When they were talking about a playoff I was sure this was going to happen. This is why I hope they stay at 4 teams in it for a long time. There were still bad bowl games before the BCS and now the playoffs but now very few seem like an accomplishment to make or play in. If you are a team like Northwestern with a very small chance of ever making the playoffs it kind of sucks. It's great for Alabama and Ohio State though.

If they move to 8 teams you might as well just open it up to any team and let them all pick wherever they play.

If you think he is going to get some votes for MVP then your entire premise that he is the same guy he always was, has just blown up in your face. Stop embarrassing yourself.

What does Matthew Stafford have to do with this year's slate of bowl games?

Did anyone notice the RB (Joe Williams,I think....don't feel like looking it up) running rampant over Indiana last night? He reminded me of Earl Campbell but a little smaller. He has had fumble issues but he might be a steal in lower rounds.
