Yesterday on AM1000, he said that Theo & Obama could switch positions and both do really well in their new jobs. "Theo knows how to get things done, and Obama knows how to delegate!" Theo has done a great job building two different World Series winning organeyezations, but remove the cock from your mouth before you suggest he could success at POTUS. I know you are still basking in the glow of a World Series, and you just got to go to the White House, but use your pea brain to think for just a second before you speak. This was such a terrible thought. Of course, Kap went along and did not call him out on it. Two of the biggest douches on air in Chicago. |

That came up on the Score too. It was in the context of the White House visit. One of the guys mentioned that Theo would play out his current five year contract, leave the Cubs after ten years, and then might want to turn his sight on politics. |

I get that. On a local level or even a state Rep, Theo could have some real success. To say he could be President and do well there, at this point, is a completely stupid thought. |

I would have douched him for saying Obama could run the Cubs! |

It's like a tree falling in the forest, and nobody is there to hear it. |

Jesse is a huge Douche, but I'd have more confidence in Epstein in the Whitehouse over Trump..I wouldn't want Obama anywhere near the Cubs. |

I think people overestimate just how smart you have to be to be successful in sports. Dayton Moore, who did at least an equally impressive job as Theo the previous year, majored in being a gym teacher in college. |

Go easy on Jesse. He's at the special education level of sports radio (Fill-in guy for ESPN Radio). Nobody was listening anyway. |

Care to explain because there is absolutely nothing in Epstein's background that indicates legislative ability? In fact, he has had his greatest management failures with the Cubs when working in the legislative realm. |

People say shows like the King of Queens, where an unattractive, dopey guy is married to an attractive, successful woman are not realistic. Jesse disagrees. |

I do not recall him being involved with that...as he is President of BASEBALL operations. Not Chairman (Rickett's). Not President of Business (Kenney). So please explain to me Theo's "greatest management failures" in this regard. Thank you. .....PS - I'm touting Theo for anything in the political sector either. I prefer he stays put...doing what he is doing for the beloved. |

Oh, I must have been confused when he is given credit for any success the Cubs realize, including being able to cut back room deals with local government. So his greatest failure will have to remain in giving out huge contracts to underperforming free agents even after he said in his first day press conference that he had learned the inadvisability of such actions in Boston. |
