lifelong Cardinals fan said that the Cubs winning the world series was right at the top of sports moments for him in his life...and that the only people who thought differently were Cub hating Sox fans I promise you that none of the other Cardinals fans in this city, and there are plenty, would feel the same about the moment |

You're not a sports fan if the Cubs winning the 2016 World Series isn't in one of your top moments. The Best Fans in Baseball recognize this. |

I am not a Cubs fan. Them winning would be nowhere near the top of my list. You are a Vikings fan (supposedly). If the Bears win a Super Bowl ( ), that should not be at the top of your list. |

It meant as much as Boston winning in 2004, which is to say very little. No reason a non-Cub fan should care about it. But this is also one of those nominations where the reason for nominating isn't really necessary in order to agree with it |

He also did that move where he wishes something horrible on a co worker on his last day of work under the guise of a joke, but it never sounds like a joke. |

Everyone going out of their way to not mention Boers health concerns and wish him a happy and long retirement and this asshole tried to pull off a "I hope you die on the air during a show" joke. |

People shouldn't allow the timeframe between wins cloud the scope of what was achieved. Had the Indians won instead of the Cubs, the same result would be seen: a team won the World Series. As a sports fan I'm happy that I saw it happen. But I wouldn't rank it in my top 5. |

How could a team you are not a fan of winning a championship be one of the top sports moments of your life? Hopefully he dies on or off air. Just kidding. Maybe. |

Don't you guys get the faux opinion about the Cubs winning? Translation: "My station carries the Cubs therefore it's one of the greatest stories ever!" IF they were still on WGN,90% of the 'SCR trolls would be mocking those with that same thought. |

One a different note regarding Rongey I never understood the "Chris Rongey, Ladies Man" meme guys at the station (mainly Bernstein and Leery, I guess) perpetuate. He's certainly not a bad looking guy, at least in comparison to other guys in sports-talk radio, and I know he dated Ginger Zee years ago, but he never struck me as being someone that women would flock to as Bernstein and Leery have indicated. Aside from appearance, based on his job at 670 I assume he's not rich and having heard him on the air over the years he doesn't seem to offer much in the way of personality or sense of humor. What am I missing? |

What am I missing? If drinky was really nailing Ice Girl, he is much more of a slayer than Rongey, but it would break guy code to call a married family man a ladies man. Rongey said he has been at WSCR for 14 years now. Time flies. |

I'm surprised he kept his job after the Score ditched the White Sox for the Cubs. What does he even do now? |

He's been hosting 10pm-midnight the last couple of times I've driven home at that time. I think he does the updates from 6p-10p as well. I'm surprised that he hasn't gotten paired with Rosenbloom at some point to substitute. Esposito is kind of meh, but he's a true part-timer with a whole other career, so he seems to be doing it for fun more than a career and so he probably works pretty cheap. |

Dumb statement and a perfect example of what's wrong with the Score. This is sports, not faggot-ass cello concerts. Only thing I could see (and did) was old lifelong Cardinal family and friends being happy their loved one Cub fans getting to see one. But it shouldn't be on their all time moments. |
