I've had to travel locally a lot more lately, and so I occasionally stop and work at a Starbucks or somewhere with good wifi. It absolutely never fails that some joker is in there screaming on their phone so that the whole store can hear.

A couple days ago, it was some realtor arguing with her client. Everyone in there heard every detail of their conversation. They were mad b/c she couldn't sell their house at the price they wanted, and it ended with them firing her. The realtor was about as rude as one could be to a "customer."

Today, there is some guy who looks like a Quad City Pat doppelganger yelling at someone about some work he had performed at someone's house that he was apparently being called out on. He is also rude as hell. Everyone in here is awkwardly looking at him.

People have no goddamn shame.

I would also figure that if you own your own business, you might not want to let everyone in the store hear you treat your customers like crap.

I just dealt with "Talk to every customer in line guy" at Costco, and he was a loud talker. First, he talks to the guy in front of me about his 55" LG that he is buying. He tells everybody that 55" is the average size TV in America now. Another guy remarks about how crowded it was. Super Cool Guy then tells him that the Honolulu Costco is the busiest. He spots a woman buying almond milk, and starts to tell everybody about how much his wife likes it and it's healthy, and blah blah blah. I paid as quickly as I could, and got the fuck out of there, before he wanted to start up a conversation about the apple sauce and dryer sheets that were in my cart.
