Long story but here goes We have Comcast and our bill just went up $70 because we are out of contract so I called AT&T about switching to Direct TV because Uverse isnt offered in this area or some shit. Ask the 1st guy how their internet was and he basically said its shit..look elsewhere. I decided I would make a few phone calls and see if I could get comparable internet to what we have with Comcast currently. After having no luck I say f It because im annoyed with Comcast and Ill take AT&T's semi shitty internet so I sign up. They have me scheduled for a Sunday set up. This guy proceeded to tell me I could run up to 10 devices on this internet they will install for me so I say I'll take it. Ok almost 2 hours on the phone later installation is set up and they just need to charge me $1 to ship out the modem...ok fine whatever. 2 days later I get a phone call stating they messed up the installation date and they needed to reschedule it as the giy forgot to enter something correctly. I say OK tomorrow will work but I wont have my modem by then. They say "why do you need a modem as you aren't set up for internet. The guy I talked to to set up my installation NEVER set up the internet and he was sending me out a mini tablet. So they have to transfer me to another person figure all this out. I ask her how she likes the internet speed there and she says "Oh I have Comcast ". I then said cancel my entire order and I dont want anything from them. They still sent the installer out the next day and I had to answer the call explaining it again. 3 days later they call me needing to know why I canceled the install and my account hasn't officially been closed yet. So i have to spend another 20 mins on the phone officially canceling everything for the 3rd time. I just got an email that I could view my current bill at anytime. |
