huh? This is a really odd nomination. You have a problem with old dear friends/teammates wanting to get together and have a reunion for the purposes of relaxing with buddies and reminiscing about the time they played together and the championship they won? Very odd take to say the least. Ray Allen was left out cause apparently he's a massive dbag. Loved watching the halftime segment with KG, Rondo, Pierce, Perkins and Big Baby hanging out. You could tell they genuinely loved being around each other and were great friends. All that despite the fact that they each have moved on to different teams or retirement and have had different teammates along the way. Just goes to show you how powerful winning a championship is and the lifelong bonds it can form. My Maccabei hockey team has reunions every year, sometimes more than one. Been doing that for 4 years now. Doubt we would have the same connection if we didn't win the Gold medal together. NOMINATION SQUARELY REJECTED and now I question whether Rick ever played team sports and if he did, he definitely never won anything worthwhile. |

also Rondo explained the beef with Allen. They're pissed at him cause he left the Celtics in 2012 and signed for less money to play with their biggest rival. That didn't sit well with the ultra competitive players that were stars on that Celtics team. And also, Allen acted like a dick when he left..wouldn't return any of Pierce's phone calls. So fuck him. |
