2016

He's going to be fine. No doubt about it.

I could live with dropping the pop up at short in the rain, but that attempted throw was ridiculous

Patterson gets a bad rap. He was just starting to put it all together, and then the major injury happened. It wasn't for lack of talent before that injury.

Let's be real. Schwarber had little to do with 2016.

I've been told Ben Zobrist won the World Series for the Cubs. I believe that more than Schwarber.

They all won it, which is why they all get a little more slack.

The best part about Schwarber is he seems to be completely unaware of how terrible he is defensively.

Post subject:  Re: Nas

He has dropped more balls that have touched his glove than any player I have ever seen. In only 108 games. We're talking 66% of a season versus entire careers.

He is truly awful.

What the hell was wrong with Mel Hall? Dude had a solid MLB career.

Kyle Schwarber has played 71 games in the MLB outside of this season. Nobody knows who he really is as a player. Gordon Beckham got really hot for a summer, too.

They literally lost every game he didn't play in and he was responsible for the winning run.

Schwarber had a whole hell of a lot to do with them winning the Series. It's inarguable.

This statement is literally untrue.

I don't think that's true. It's being argued now

As a Sox fan, I love watching Schwarber play the field.

Go ahead, keep him, don't trade him to a team that needs a DH for pitching or something.

Give me 25 players to put on a baseball team, and I'll take the 25 best players.

Mike Trout did not help the 2016 Cubs win a World Series. Kyle Schwarber did.

Would you take Mike Trout over Kyle Schwarber?

Everything is argued here. You could say Bob Barker wasn't engaging and awesome, and someone would argue.

This is a really awful thought.

If Joe Sheehan wrote an article justifying it, Dan Bernstein would call it the greatest baseball thought of the year.

I'm sure he would as long as stats were involved.
