In 1985, Bruce Springsteen released the album
Born in the U.S.A. including a track about his lust for a woman whom he was attracted to. "I got a bad desire / I'm on fire." Springsteen was clearly speaking in a metaphorical sense, but it wasn't the same for the boyfriend of 38-year-old Leigh Ann Sepelyak. He was reportedly asleep when doused with gasoline and set ablaze by Sepelyak, who had a change of heart once her parents heard his screaming and came rushing into the room. Thankfully, the couple had been storing their urine in buckets so as to not disturb the parents with frequent bathroom trips, and at least two buckets of urine were poured on the boyfriend to douse the flames. Since there were no eyewitnesses to the start of the inferno, her lawyer may employ Billy Joel's classic defense, "We Didn't Start The Fire."
