Started playing the Jefferson's Movin' On Up theme at Wrigley, crowd was getting into it and then put up a bunch of StL Cardinals logos on the video board.

FU, Nelly.

Nice troll job, though. Dolphin should take lessons.

The dude next to me asked if I knew where he could smoke and if I wanted to go get high with him.

That was you? Sorry about you losing your girlfriend and coming to Wrigley to try to find a girl.

Also sorry that you cried through the entire Florida Georgia Line concert.

You're a weird dude, jimmy.

Also, I had a pretty good look at at least 25,000 of the people there.

All white. Every single one. After a while it became a challenge for me and I couldn't find a black person in the crowd. I gave it a good 20 minutes of searching.

I've never felt whiter.

So is Nelly the new rap equivalent of Jimmy Buffet? Vaguely catchy, feel goodish pop drivel for the edgy middle aging.

Good for him. Make that money Cards fan!

Hey,it's all about the money and staying relevant.

How many washed up rock stars have shown up in Nashville the past 10 years or so trying to keep their music alive by lying to themselves (I always loved Country) and their fans?

I hope not. Jimmy Buffet blows, he has always blown, and he will continue to blow.

He was the best part of the show. Although Backstreet got the biggest reaction with that Backstreet's Back song.

The audio quality there sucks. I think that's the 3rd or 4th show I've seen there and it's always horrible.

It's what has amused the hell out of me with all of the talk of Nashville being increasingly culturally relevant. Compared to 50s-early 70s country music, the later stuff is all blow dried puff, sharing the lights and paychecks with the washed up.

I say good for them, but just don't tell me through every corporate mouthpiece that it's interesting, culturally impressive or musically significant.

Sounds like the audio equivalent of going to Soldier Field to comfortably watch a game

Awesome. "Movin' On Up" is still the last song I played live on stage. I wish I had had some Cardinals video.

I don't think some of these guys understand the decade or so long zone for fathers where the only social outlet beyond drinking with neighborhood parents is going to concerts of performer's whose last hit was decades ago.

You got tickets to Ace of Base this weekend? Fuck, yeah I'm there!
