bullshit, faux sophisticated, piece of shit music venue

People sitting ass to elbow like it is 4th of July at Taste of Chicago but because 40 year old women can drink their wine and none of "those" people are around everyone can pretend they are with the Queen for high tea.

Fuck that place.

Keep drinking your prosecco.

If you are such a fan, then buy an actual seat you puss. Then you don't have to worry about spilling beer on your cheese.

When the act is the CSO there is plenty of room to spread out. As the SIL and her husband mesmerize themselves in the music my wife and I guzzle beer and snacks while quietly wagering the ponies on the android. Not a bad way to spend a summer evening.

So which was it, Lord of the Rings in Concert, or Alanis Morissette? Either way, both events signal loud clear, "My wife has my balls in this jar".

Not knowing who sings the song I already referenced indicates your loafers are so light, Mercury would be jealous.

Mellencamp was the performer.

Its BYOB. The only thing you can't bring is a grill or a keg. I've seen people with 30 packs and buckets of chicken, and people with tables, candles, fine china, and caviar.

Real North Shore stylee: a red wagon full of salads and sandwiches from Foodstuffs and Napa Chardonnay.

Guy too cheap to pay for seats.

Nomination rejected. That said, I would never go there to see a band I really wanted to see. Only reason to go there is to sit on the lawn and have a picnic if you're into that kind of thing.

It's your opinion Mellencamp isn't masculine music?

Tickets were bought for me.

But it sounds like an great idea to spend $40 for the privilege to sit in a park packed with other people to hear music you only kind of like

You are allowed to bring in your own wine / beer, as well as food. But it is available for sale as well, if you don't care to have to bring stuff in. I always get Pavilion seats, but like the venue a lot. Beautiful and super close to me. We take the train from Hubbard Woods and 3 short stops later the train stops right at the venue. We can have as much wine as we like and not worry about driving. Nomination denied.

Mandals, jorts, Cubs hat, and glass of White Zinfandel.

I should be Elmhurst Steve for Halloween. I'll just spout off racial slurs, wrong Cubs stats, and say my average in bowling is 283.
