Agreed. I think now is the time to release all of the files so that America can begin the healing process. |

My personal hero Christopher Hitchens probably would have run them into the ground, but he was always a glutton for grave-dancing. |

Should be interesting to see the usual Dem apologists and hypocrites show up today. |

Fusion GPS’s work researching Trump began during the Republican presidential primaries when the GOP donor paid for the firm to investigate the real estate tycoon’s background. Fusion GPS did not start off looking at Trump’s Russia ties, but quickly realized that those relationships were extensive, according to the people familiar with the matter. When the Republican donor stopped paying for the research, Elias, acting on behalf of the Clinton campaign and the DNC, agreed to pay for the work to continue. The Democrats paid for research, including by Fusion GPS, because of concerns that little was known about Trump and his business interests, according to the people familiar with the matter. These people said it is standard practice for political campaigns to use law firms to hire outside researchers in order to ensure their work is protected by attorney-client and work product privileges. |

Good to see that no one here was paying attention before the election. It was published in multiple places that the dossier was originally funded by a Republican (not sure who) before the Dems picked up the cost. The only new news here is the identity of the Dems who paid for it. |

Thanks for bullet pointing it. |

So the story is Democratic Party paid to continue looking into Trump after the GOP primary. And this is a news story? |

You are the king of "both sides do it" and are getting mad that people are pointing out #trumprussia in response to your Hillary ranting? I guess it's symptomatic of true partisan believers like yourself. Because it's a GOP who the info is about, it doesn't matter if it's true, it just matters WHO PAID FOR IT??? (We mean after our guys stopped paying for it.). If opposition research is illegal then haul the congressional GOP in right now since that's all the 400 BENGHAZI!!! hearings were. |

Some in the media and message boards only wanted it to be treason for Junior. |
