I've heard that but I've never been pulled over by them or had any issues yet. |

The tickets they write on North Ave alone probably fund the entire city. It's 8 lanes wide and the limit's only 45. Trucks go like 65, so it seems painfully slow. |

YES! They are notorious for "DUI" stops on North Avenue. |

Drive North Avenue from Oak Park to St Charles and if you see 10 cops sitting with a radar gun, 9 of them will be as you go through Carol Stream. I don't know about the rest of the town, but they are always out on North Avenue. |

I don't take route 64 to the city anymore because of Carol Stream cops. That and 88 is much faster. They'd nail you for 46 in a 45. It was (and I assume is) terrible. |
