Some crybaby is upset that Tim Anderson wouldn't write "game used" on a bat he asked him to sign.

Get a load of this moron.

He is getting lit up on Twitter and rightfully so for it too.

Until I was directed to where the visitors team bus boards at Wrigley (so my then 8 year old son could get Diamondbacks autographs) I'd never seen such pointless garbage. Nomination seconded.

But in fairness, because of the kindness of their pitchers, my son's still a big Arizona fan.

Tim Anderson relies with 100% class when he has no obligation to do so. I honestly wish Tim would have rightfully ripped this guy a new one.

He relies on class because he sucks at baseball?

The guy is a tool but Rongey never misses a chance to fire on a fan.

There's a difference between a guy signing at a fan fest and signing at a card shop or autograph show where he is getting paid.

Wait, if that is actually a problem in media, someone should call Mitch Rosen. I'm pretty sure Julie has bought Twitter followers as she has had 5k drops in followers at some times as she probably stopped paying bills to the click farms that gave her fake followers

Tim signed the bat for the guy. The problem is the guy demanded that he inscribe it as "game used." Tim refused that and rightfully so.

That's just because he couldn't make contact with the Sharpie twice in a row.

It has probably been 15yrs since I have been to Soxfest, I do remember Stone(specifically saying) he wouldn't sign on the sweet spot because of people selling autographs. I did notice others(not prospects), would not really sign in the sweet spot. Frank Thomas used a black sharpie to sign part of his signature in a black area on my friends banner one time. So, it probably had more to do with thinking people would sell things.

I'm pretty sure that at a fan event like Soxfest there is a rule that you just get an autograph. It keeps the lines moving. That's as opposed to a card show lkke The National where guys are charging sometimes big dollars. If I'm paying $50 for a signing you should write "2012 AL RBI Champ" or whatever if someone asks.

We also would have accepted "he dropped the Sharpie and booted it across the stage."

Should have asked him to write "K #160" on the bat.
