History, recent and not-so-recent, has shown us there is no shortage of dumbass nicknames for cities: Chi-town, H-town, O-town, etc.

So now apparently Cleveland is known as "The Land"? And the idiocy of it has stuck enough for the Cavaliers to be wearing jerseys with "THE LAND" on them tonight?

Bone Thugs n Harmony were calling it The Land in the 90's. Not a brand new nickname.

Schampton is the best city nickname, btw.

Golden State has been wearing "The Town" on their uniforms this year, in reference to Oakland, even though they are moving to San Francisco ("The City") next year.
