4 and a half hours later and they still aren't home. And the ice has started.

I am so sick of people.

Getting to Chicago to help sinic took longer than 4 hours but they're making 15 or 20 bucks.

No.

Two is a few. Three tops.

If a "few" was four or five of something, I wouldn't argue it. A 'couple hours' is two.

Was there a specific timeline set?

I’ve always been a few is 3-5. 2 is a couple. So for 2-3 it would be a couple or three hours.

That being said, people should be more precise on time of baby sitting requests.

5 hours is a standard date night. Dinner/Movie and maybe stopping at the Super 8 to fuck.

Based on the timeline... looks like 5:30 to 10:30. That seems fairly standard for a Saturday night. Based on a 8ish bed time for the kids, that's a solid 2.5 hrs of watching TV and getting paid for it.

Sounds like PM was just pissed he couldn't drink on Saturday night because he had to pick up the kid

Isn't it the employer's responsibility to take the sitter home?

I thought that was just in film and TV to further plot lines.

I've never used a sitter that wasn't a next door neighbor or old enough to drive themselves.

Pretty sure I can drive home a 15 year old baby sister without ending up being interviewed by Chris Hansen.

to me if they said a "few" and it turned into 5, that is stretching the meaning of "few". I have always figured a "couple" as two, "few" as three, maybe four, and "several" as four or five. the line between "a few" and "several" is blurry to me. Five strikes me as too much for a few. My daughter babysits down the street for some neighbor friends of ours, and she loves the late nights. sometimes she pulls $80 a night! they always provide pizza for she and the kids, then she deals with them for a couple hours, throws them in bed and watches TV, plays on her phone and eats snacks for 4 hours until they get home. They always drive her home. You should see the money roll she has, its fucking ridiculous. Every so often she goes to the bank and deposits it but i think she likes the giant roll of twenties she has. She is going to be able to buy a car the day she turns 16 with all that baby sitting money.
