He is pathetically spam posting on every NHL twitter post to complain about how the NHL is ignoring the dangers of playing hockey. Meanwhile this twat spent his entire career head hunting players who were actually trying to play hockey. If he actually gave a damn about the health of his fellow players, then maybe this asshole wouldn't have been trying to do shit like this on a nightly basis. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-_T2cjRHgb8 He is literally just crying out for attention at this point and completely ignoring that he was a big part of the problem when he was a player. He had no regard for anyone else on the ice, which was his choice. However, you don't get to act all hight and mighty when your career is over after having played in that manner and delivered your own fair share of concussions to other guys. If WYC was still a thing, he'd be the most obvious of craps. |

Anytime there is a game where somebody goes to drive somebody else into the boards and smashes them selves into them we laugh and say he carcillo'd himself. It doesn't matter if it's professional or it's a kids game. |

It doesn't matter if it's professional or it's a kids game. That was the one time I saw a Blackhawk injured on the ice and thought "good." If there is instant karma, the result of that hit was it. If memory serves correctly, the Oilers got 2 goals on the PP for that major and I wasn't even mad. The Hawks deserved to lose that game just for the shit Carcillo pulled |

Everyone's favorite cheap shot artist is at it again in his desperate crave for attention. Now he is saying he regrets playing hockey and would take his name off of the Cup if he could. I say please, do take his name off the Cup. It shouldn't even be on there. He never played a Cup final game in 13 or 15 nor did he play half of the regular season games. Those are the 2 requirements to be on the Cup and he never met them. In fact, his name was only engraved as the Hawks asked for a special waiver on his behalf. Please remove his name as it is tarnishing the greatest trophy in sports. |

I completely agree with you that he was a complete turd of a player.....awful. Problem is, he's not wrong on his NHL accusations. |

Do we honestly believe he is doing this for noble purposes? Carcillo wouldn't even know what those were. He just wants a spotlight on him after his playing days. He has become an embarrassment on Twitter trying to pick fights with guys like Roenick. Fuck him, at least Roenick deserved to be on the ice. |

I'm glad Carcillo feels remorse for his career and what he did to himself and others. Sorry if it feels like he's grandstanding but I appreciate his zeal of the convert. |

And worthy of being scorned, then forever more ignored Yeah, I haven’t really understood the attempt to rehabilitate him as someone with profound thoughts on the game and what ailes it. I’d rather hear from those whose careers were cut short by the likes of Carcillo or Torres than the head hunters. |

Right. Hey asshole, don't play like that and you won't have as many issues or give others issues. |

I don't understand Mac's disgust with Carcillo for championing this cause. Like many goons, the only way Carcillo was going to have an NHL career was to play that role. Now that head trauma and CTE is more known, criticizing the NHL even though he unknowingly contributed to it is not something that deserves douchebag status. Carcillo is fine by me. |

Daniel Carcillo's regrettable career can be summed up by the Gilbert hit. Karma struck him instantly though as he also blew out his ACL. Or this hit by the asswipe: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hQc1_V3M4G4 At least he took out his teammate there. Notice how he was putting his elbows up as he was hoping to get Kopecky in the head. |

I have never liked the role of an agitator either. And I don't know why the NHL waited so long to legislate blind-sided, predatory hits out of the game. A year or so I stumbled onto a video of Scott Stevens' greatest hits. I had to turn it off since it was disturbing to watch. |

There is a difference between being tough or playing within the game and trying to injure someone. It's disgraceful. It's not hockey, it's crap. |

I agree with every single criticism of Carcillo mentioned here. He was a bad, dirty player. He's a hypocrite. Agree with all of it. It still doesn't change the fact that his claims on the NHL and the players union are accurate. |

Yeah, Torres and Carcillo were garbage akin to that pussy Claude Lemieux...never saw someone not looking that they didn't target. I still remember that Torres hit on Hossa in the 12 playoffs like it was yesterday... |

Didn't know this about Carcillo. I think we can all agree hockey Twitter will be a better place when Carcillo follows in his friend Steve Montador's foosteps |
