Used Uber Pool MANY times with no issues. Only one time did I have an incident, and Uber ended up righting their wrong.

I didn't know if this was a complain, brag, or a bit of both. Anyway...
I took an Uber on St Patricks Day. I had been out for most of the day and had MANY beers. I wasn't completely out of it, but had been dropped off at a friends not too far from my house and fully intended to take an Uber home. I was in the car for 13 minutes. It was an Uber Pool, and about a mile from my place the driver picked up two other guys. One sat in back next to me, the other had to be helped into the front seat. Five minutes later, I am dropped off with no issues.
Saturday I get an email from Uber that they charged me $80 to have the drivers car cleaned. I was floored. Sure I wasn't sober, but I didn't have any food with me, my shoes weren't muddy, and I didn't puke so I have no idea how I get charged for the mess. I log into the Uber app to explain that this was a pool and that one of the other riders must have made the mess. We go back and forth and most of the explanation I get is about Uber policies and blah blah..all of which I understand. One of the last replies is about pictures of the mess that the driver sent in. I asked what part of the car was messed up. Uber says the front seat. I explain that I was sitting in the rear passenger seat so clearly the mess was not my fault. I suggest they check with my driver to confirm this and if Uber refuses I will dispute the charge with my credit card company.
Today I got an email that my $80 will be refunded.
