https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/realest ... li=BBnb7Kz $175k/yr is NOT enough they say to live in DC! Rent is $2k/month, so that means they MUST sleep in their office. Hey dipshits. Welcome to the rest of the country where 1/2 our income goes to RENT! fuck you. |

Their families don't come to Washington. Why should they be required to maintain two households? Nomination Denied |

They are there three nights a week for only a portion of the year. I can see why they would do this. It can't impress an intern to see your boss sleeping on an army cot in his office so at least you know they aren't fooling around. |

Why don't they build a dorm or something where they can just pay rent for the times congress is actually in session. |

Michael Steele a few year ago was on Bill Maher, and scoffed at how much they get paid. Said something like it wasn't a living wage. What a joke. |

do. the. math. $175k/yr Can't expect them to afford two households? How fucking much should their primary house be worth? And even worse, their claim it costs $2k a month to rent is probably true... but if theyre just there 3 days a week... well, then dont rent. get a god damn hotel room like EVERYONE ELSE IN AMERICA WHO TRAVELS FOR WORK. |
