Some of this stuff is new, some of it has been out there for a few years (such as stiffing of freelancers)

Kinda hard to take that seriously when the article cites Jann Wenner as a legitimate critic.

I became a fan of Shane Smith and Vice when he did the first of many Rogan podcasts...2011 I think? He drank a shit ton of whiskey and told a lot of stories traveling to fucked up places. Badass interview: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=AD27xCn9_rE

Always found it weird he never wanted to talk about his past. Rogan would bring it up from time to time but Shane was always shady. He definitely comes off as an ass in the article. Most of their online stuff has become clickbait. They still put out decent stuff from time to time on HBO. I was very disappointed in the edited Jordan Peterson interview.

Many good quotes but this is one nice little swipe. Shane Smith is now Homer Simpson walking into Suicide Notes waxing nostalgic about The Us festival and Apple computers. Also, we live in hell.
