I did that when I was 12 and I don't know that I have ever really gotten over it.

I think two weeks later I inherited th job a summer earlier than planned. I’ve contemplated quitting raising cattle over the carnage that is first cutting hay. |

I was 10 or 11 and ran over a baby rabbit with the mower. It wasn't the blades just the weight of the mower on the wheels. Such a terrible feeling of guilt and remorse. |

Circle of life. I did this when I was 12 or 13 cutting my Grandother's lawn. I guess there's a special place in hell for me, cause I just thought "oh....sucks to be them" and went on with my day. Still doesn't bother me and I'm sure it will happen again. |

If you want to avoid running over more baby rabbits be sure to hunt down and kill the mother as she may reproduce again. |

I think I had a possibly worse incident. We have a fire pit in our backyard where we toss scrap wood and eventually burn on a nice evening. We lit the fire and then we hear little screams and see little bunnies running out of the fire pit. Not ideal. |
