Never used one before getting assigned one as a work phone in February. They are fuckin awful and I'm glad I haven't been missing out on anything.

do you think you just need time to adjust? I heard others who were apple people just couldn't get use to them.

I'll fully acknowledge that. I'm 31 going on 70 when it comes to technology. If I haven't learned it by now it's useless to me and therefore society in general IMO.

You should just say that it would work better if it were an Apple product because Apple products always work, that couldn't be wring.

Well, it's not an Apple product so at least you won't be spilling beer all over it.

I love Android phones. My first device was apple, what a royal pain. Android phones can be customized., You can get a secondary browser for sites like the trib. Kill history & cookies when you hit the read limit, then start all over again. No subscription. I like unlocked ones. No carrier bloatware. Have a LG G6. Dropped it a lot . Works great. Chomping at the bit to upgrade though. Wide phones are silly, tall ok. Next LG g7... OnePlus 6? Never buy Samsung, defective batteries.

Yeah, everybody kills history because of the read limit...

Just killing History won't do anything Jerry Stiller. It's the cookies which are helpful on your main browser. So 2 browsers

I've been very happy with the Nexus series. No manufacturer bloatware, early releases of all updates, decent performance. At one point I tried one of the Samsungs (I think it was the S6) and absolutely hated it. I have a 6P right now (made by Huawei), and need to get another year out of it.

Had two Samsungs and was basically left wanting to smash them both with a hammer as they were buggy as all high hell. Although some of that was probably me being resistant to change.

Currently using a Mi Max 2. Huge screen and great battery life. Love it for my ever worsening eyesight.

I've had an Android for almost a year, it's my first smartphone, and I haven't had any problems with it.

Just use private browsing. Everyone knows this. Only dipshits need two browsers and all that other shit.

Yep. 6p was awesome. The Nexus series has been rebranded as the Pixel series.

No problems with my Android and the cost isn't 1/2 a mortgage payment...if you can't figure out a phone, you could fuck up a wet dream.

original iphone all the way to iphone 5 here. then the switch happened. i'm on my 2nd galaxy and have been pretty happy with the switch. i have to fiddle fart with my wifes phone/ipad a lot. i still think its a great product. they both have their pluses and minuses.

but its a total difference. 3 weeks in i was ready to go back to iOs but by week 5, i was all in.

the DBOTW for me is i just updated my phone.

it now warns me of apps using up my battery...yet my battery life is terrible now. when i go into see which app is using up the most battery its the "this app is using your battery" app. *blink blink*

My daughter complains that the galaxy slows down. Apps won't open and bogs. Probably runs a lot of shit in the background or Android gets malware?

Yes you can disable apps that aren't used. Some can be removed but not all I think.

Denied, Androids are still far superior to Apple phones.

At least the Android phone will last more than 2 software updates before it gets throttled down by the maker, forcing you to upgrade your paid for phone.

All can be removed, there are guides online to give you a step-by-step process for it.
