I could give zero fucks about royal protocol there, but what kind of dickhead doesn't show the correct respect to their 92 year old host? |

If you don’t want to extend accepted courtesy then don’t meet with her. POTUS has people who’s only job is to tell him what to do. Hell, even when I travel abroad I read up on local custom in order to avoid offense. His behavior only reinforces what we already know about him and by extension the whole “ugly American” label. |

It might be less work to make threads about the stuff Trump does right. |

If we want people to act right when they come here we should be expected to act in accordance with their customs when we visit them. |

I love you Zip, but if Europeans or anyone else want to negatively label Americans anything, then we can just stop carrying their economies and protecting them from the bad guys in the world. Maybe if they took care to not be so sensitive, their cultures wouldn't be eroding. If nothing else, Trump has helped to disspell the myth that we owe anything to anyone. Fuck them and their baby balloons. |

I guess I agree with this thread. She isn't Queen here. While you should and do respect foreign leaders, Trump certainly does not need to bow, or observe monarchist traditions. "Do not turn your back on her." "Must arrive before her." "Do not speak unless spoken to." Fuck all that. |

Sure, Trump is bad, but American monarchists are neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrds. I know they think they're British now because they don't like Trump and the USA Network actress is a princess now, but they're not. This doesn't matter. |

There's probably some terrible columnist for The Guardian named "Cumbert Heath-Jones" writing "Why Trump Is As Bad As Jeremy Corbyn" as we speak. |

While I do think old monarchies are kinda cool it is weird the degree to which Americans seem to be into it. |

I don't like Trump as president but he is so fucking hilarious I can't help but love this shit. He knew exactly what he was doing. It's the same thing he did to Hilary, crowding her when she talked in the debates. It's so fucking funny... Yes, shameful and sad hes such a prick and all, but at the same time I can't stop laughing. It's not just that he gives zero fucks, he tries extremely hard to fuck everything in his path |

I listened to two limeys on tv yesterday criticizing Trump for not walking correctly with the Queen along with other snide remarks. I think that a lot of these dopes still think that the US is their F***in colony and that we are all just corn pone fed rubes. Bleep them. If that country wants to keep a huge doll house and pretend soldiers around a castle, more power to them but don't expect US citizens to think that this woman is anything deserving of lavish attention by us. In truth England would be better off by spending the money earmarked to the Queen and her court and instead direct it at fixing the dental health condition of its citizens! |

The monarch essentially owns the land under a huge portion of GB. A percentage of those rents are perpetually owned by the royal family |
