Maybe the legal experts on here (and JLN) can explain the thinking behind this one. MGM resorts is suing the victims involved in the Mandalay Bay shooting. https://nypost.com/2018/07/17/mandalay- ... -shooting/ |

But you probably just wanted to take a shot at JLN. |

What are they trying to do? Avoid having to defend a ton of lawsuits and just claim not their fault in one fell swoop? |

My attorney informed me the first thing they will try to do is get it out of PA court because it will be easier to get it tossed or kept from a jury longer in federal versus state. |

The Grand Klansman, JLN defended a restaurant's right to kick blacks out...what do you think his take will be here? |

Is anything Toxic Masculinity posted honestly as bad as one poster routinely calling another board member a member of the KKK? But to answer your question, it's venue shopping, and unfortunately it has taken this form. They might even end up settling with anyone that sues them, but want to designate one court for victims to do it through, instead of having to file appearances in courts all round the state and country. It's certainly bad imagery, but they've apparently decided that the PR hit they take from this won't be as bad as their legal bills if they have to defend (even if they end up settling) lawsuits in a multitude of courts. |

They already have people scrubbing the backlash comments on social media, so indeed they will try and ride it out in that manner. |

If you ever had to conduct true assessments on anything you would be terminated before your probationary period was up. Glad to see that the brigade is acting in solidarity. Its easier that way. |
