"He's like a puppy. He won't attack." How can people be this stupid? I'm sure she's happy now that its gone "viral". https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/woman-p ... 09911.html |

Why is this a nomination? It would have been cool though if the alligator ate her. |

Because they will kill the alligator once he eats her for doing nothing more than what alligators do. The alligator doesn't care how many "likes" she gets on Instagram. |

She said in the article she has worked with the alligator for three weeks and has gained its trust. That seems like sound reasoning to me. I don't think there's anything to worry about. |

Gators are pretty cool. I think if this was a croc she would've been devoured almost instantly. |

Yeah, alligators devote the majority of their tiny little brains to answering the question "is it worth it to eat this?" and as such generally won't bother a full-sized human that registers as such. Crocodiles are less discriminating and will try to drown people. Plus, this gator seems to be a rescue and has probably learned to see humans as food dispensers. |

The ones in Australia are apparently even nastier and more interested in eating humans. |
