All joking aside though, there are some fishy aspects to this story. Per Reuters...
Ten of the 19 people on Emirates airline Flight 203, which landed with at least 521 passengers around 9 a.m. EDT (1300 GMT), were taken to hospitals, while the other nine declined treatment, said Raul Contreras, a spokesman for the New York City mayor's office.
"Everyone else were clear," he said in an interview.
About 100 people complained of feeling ill on the flight from the Middle East, with symptoms including cough and fever, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said in a statement.
So 100 people complained they were ill, but 19 were ill and 9 refused treatment. How many was it and why were 9 people allowed to refuse treatment when they don't know what the cause was?
Also - I read where they suspected the flu. How does the flu show effects that quickly? :scratch:

Extremely serious. It starts with a slight fever and dryness of the throat. When the virus penetrates the red blood cells, the victim becomes dizzy, begins to experience an itchy rash. Then the poison goes to work on the central nervous system, severe muscle spasms followed by the inevitable drooling. At this point, the entire digestive system collapses accompanied by uncontrollable flatulence. Until finally, the poor bastard is reduced to a quivering wasted piece of jelly.

What the heck was Vanilla Ice doing in that part of the world? Another oil sheikh family wedding? Times must be tough if they've gone from Beyonce, Mariah and Usher to Rob Van Winkle. Last I heard of Vanilla performing he was playing "hardcore" versions of his catalog at shitty midwestern raves, alongside Rabbit in the Moon and DJ Jazzy Jeff.
