What is wrong with you? It's not like these things just sneak up on you. Every hurricane there is always a shot of some car where you can only see the roof as it is surrounded by flood water. Everyone is literally screaming on tv that you will die if you don't leave and yet you are the one dope that is like "Oh look, a parking spot is available in a low lying area next to the ocean. How fortunate! Why is there a weather channel van parked over there with a guy in a heavy rain suit? Oh well, no big deal. Time to go watch America's Got Talent". Here is a hint. Find a place to park on a hill. You are probably one of ten people who is staying in the area. There has to be suitable parking. If there isn't, then maybe it's time to leave? Maybe you could even find a gas station pump to park in front of because that would make you less of a dbag than being the moron that woke up this morning and was like "Well, damn, I guess there was a storm last night! I didn't expect there to be 4 feet of water in my car. I'll have to call in sick to work or get out my boat to commute to the Waffle House".

If I was the insurance company I would tell the person they aren't getting a new car because of stupidity.

Everyone doesn't have the resources to evacuate and there aren't hills everywhere.

One of the movies being screened at America's 2018 Halloween Film Festival is The Jews Have Hills.

Well if we add significantly more floods to areas people won’t have to worry about feeding, clothing and sheltering themselves if they drown.

Not sure I agree with the tenor of the post, but to your surprise Brick, I agree with the sentiment.
