This just isn't going to get better. Everyone is a retard. Why couldn't they hire someone not retarded?

Jason Witten just said the 49ers receiver just was trying to break up the pass...except the defender (King) never touched the ball nor was it really close. The receiver just didn’t catch it. Jeez he’s bad.

Joe T is a good college guy but is saddled with two douchbag idiot partners. One for the country audience, one for the urban audience.

The graphics blow too. They switch the down and distance from the left side to the right side depending on which team has the ball...irritating when it’s not in the same place.

Witten is unbelievably bad. No way they can bring him back.

Everyone is so damn worried about diversity and having former players that no one thinks about actual skill. You can’t have first timers on this telecast.

What does diversity have to do with it?

Exactly. But that is the number 1 priority when putting together the broadcast team. Not whether they have experience but whether they fill the “need”.

I’m not saying having a woman, minorities, or trans people or whatever automatically is bad. I’m just saying those people should have a long career and a great body of work to be on MNF. Besides Joe T, the other 3 have pretty much zero experience and detract from the telecast instead of add to it.

I was going to say that Witten doesn't sound as bad as he did in Week 1, and then he lays that on us. Christ...

What I find grating is how they all call each other by nicknames -- Tess, Witt, Boog, and Lees -- as if they're a veteran broadcast team and the audience is familiar with them.

Hell of a drive by Rodgers at the end, and nice to see Crosby redeem himself with a good game and the game-winning kick after that awful week last week.

Two 49ers took each other out right in front of Crosby...ouch.

Witten: “Just look at Breathard”

Someone could make good use of one bullet by standing Scott Van Pelt and Trey Wingo back-to-back and pulling the trigger.

I had most of the game on mute because I figured these guys would make Joe Buck look modest with the amount of slobbering over Rodgers they'd be doing during the inevitable fourth quarter comeback. I did however enjoy hearing them wax poetic about the brilliant leadership to call timeout when the playclock was running down in the red zone.

why were they showing the back of booger's head on his shots?

they must have had some george kittle canned talk prepared, because he made a mundane 10 yard catch late int heg ame and tessitore was "kittle is having such an impressive season".... and it was met with silence because robot witten forgot his lines

I get mad just thinking about all the competent women who probably got passed over so Jason Witten could get this job.

It would be awesome if they put a trans broadcast team in there. The internet would be fantastic that night.

Monday Night Football died when Al Michaels and John Madden signed off after the Patriots beat the Jets at Giants Stadium on December 26, 2005.

This team makes me long for the days of Kornheiser and Theismann bickering with each other throughout the entire broadcast. At least that provided unintentional comedy.

Kornheiser is one of the worst MNF hosts I have ever heard. IIRC he was more interested in celebrity gossip such as who Matt Leinart was dating that the actual game. His radio show they tried on AM1000 for a while in the early 2000s was horrible, too. Jim O'Donnell was very critical of him before the show started airing here and he spent days complaining about O'Donnell. Once he was done with that he seemed to spend a good portion of his show talking about Dancing with the Stars.

This is all true and yet he was still more listenable on the MNF broadcast than "Wit," Tess," and "Boog."
