There hasn't been a ten year old Wisconsin girl in this much hot water since Mark Chmura's hot tub.

It's absolutely heartbreaking.
Don't forget the story of the 21 year old gas huffer who mowed down 4 Girl Scouts over the weekend minutes away from where this happened.

I can't imagine a 10 year old being tried as an adult, but I also can't imagine how this happened in the first place.
It's terrible.

Kid was in foster care with a family who ran an in home daycare. Those people only cared about a check. This kid was set up for failure. She should be punished but not as an adult.

A bit confused why the whole state gets DB'd. :scratch: I guess because they are in charge of the foster system? Absolutely horrible
story but I think Nas is taking quite a leap there accusing the foster parents of just looking for a check. We have no idea why the child was
removed from her biological parents and what kind of damage they did to this girl before being placed in September.

Directly from the article you reference.... highly unlikely she will be charged as an adult

Handcuffed and wearing a leather restraint around her waist, the girl sobbed as she appeared in Chippewa County Circuit Court on Monday. A judge set bond at $50,000. State law requires the case, at least initially, to be held in adult court, according to prosecutors.
