That's not even woke. Saying the Earth is flat or wishing you had a veteran on your team with 10+ years experience (Horford has that) and all the other crap that comes out of his mouth makes me want to slap him. Of all the things you have a beef with, you have to dump on Thanksgiving with profane language that children might see, when you're a high profile NBA player? He completely misses the point that it's the spirit of giving thanks that is important. All of us have something to be thankful for, and that includes Kyrie Irving especially.

I don't think that Thanksgiving is contrived at all. It's a genuine family holiday. Christmas is contrived and the materialism that goes into it. If you're a sincere Christian, then there's no reason for gift giving at all. It is a holy day of worship. Truly, there is hardly anything I hate more than Black Friday and glutinous shopping.

I don't think he presents like one. He's just a basketball player with some weird harmless opinions and the one in the OP is a pretty justified one actually. Pretty bad thing to rip him for.
