They fucking knew what Kareem Hunt did and only cut him when the optics became too toxic to keep him. The only reason they still employ Tyreek Hill is because there ain't no video of him punching out his pregnant cvnt.

If he is picked up by the Bears do you mind if I make this a shout out?

Sure. The Skins are ahead of the Bears on the waiver wire though.

Neither the NFL nor the Chiefs had seen the video before it was released Friday, a source informed of the situation told Rapoport. The NFL made several attempts to obtain it. The hotel said it was corporate policy to only turn over surveillance video to law enforcement. Cleveland Police Dept. public information officer Jennifer Ciaccia confirmed to NFL.com the police did not release the video.

LOL and TMZ can get the video, but the NFL could not. It is a matter of want to.

NFL: hi, we here one of our players was involved in an altercation at you hotel. May we look at the video tapes?
Hotel: Sorry, it’s against our policy.
NFL: Fantastic. Have a wonderful weekend.

What he wrote is correct. He didn’t say they saw the video, just that they knew what he did.

I should have posted the article.

According to the ZChiefs, he lied to them about what happened and they were totally unaware of what he did before seeing the video.

“Earlier this year, we were made aware of an incident involving running back Kareem Hunt. At that time, the National Football League and law enforcement initiated investigations into the issue. As part of our internal discussions with Kareem, several members of our management team spoke directly to him. Kareem was not truthful in those discussions. The video released today confirms that fact. We are releasing Kareem immediately.”

Isn't it weird that prisons contain a disproportionate number of innocent people? Don't believe me? Just ask some of the prisoners.

it’s also very possible he hadn’t seen the video and didn’t know what was on it. Night of drinking, long escalating altercation. Breaking things down with police over what started the fight. The racism escalating things and then the police declining charges. By the end of the night he probably felt his reaction was justified in the police not pressing charges.

Not excusing his actions, but if he didn’t see the tape, he may not know what it looked like.

Also if we are defining that as kicking someone, I kick my kids at least once a week when they are tiring their shoes. He knocked her over.

It's weird to assume the worst in others.

Especially after the hotel chain said that they would not turn over the tape to the NFL or the team.

And what is most troubling in all of this from what has been shown so far, is that the Cleveland cops didn't charge him with assault.

It would be total bullshit if he got blackballed because of this but I don’t see that happening.

Chiefs are indeed dumbass douchebags for releasing him. I hope he signs with an AFC contender and destroys them in the playoffs. He was an asshole in that video but this whole BRITALIZING and BEATING shit is blown way out of proportion and it’s irresponsible.

We've never expected professional athletes to be model citizens or really gave a crap about their personal lives. The leagues probably shouldn't start now. Where would Kobe be if the NBA cared about him raping a woman?

That was an awful situation for the league. They should've banned him for life.

Thankfully MJ was a model citizen and never did anything bad.

They way this is being portrayed by the media is completely unfair to Hunt. TMZ, which released the video, uses the headline "KAREEM HUNT CUT BY THE CHIEFS FOR BRUTALIZING WOMAN ON VIDEO." When I heard "BRUTALIZING" I expected to see a vicious UFC-style beating, but that's not what happened. He pushed the woman enough to make her take a few steps back.

TurdFerguson wrote:

I heard on ESPN radio this morning that he "kicked a woman in the chest." That doesn't seem to be what happened. He pushed her on the leg with his foot. Again, completely unfair.

It would not surprise me if people in the media are afraid to challenge any of this bullshit narrative for fear being labeled as someone who condones violence towards women. The same people (Bernstein, DiCaro, Parkins, McKnight) who can't wait to imply people are racist (or rapists) will likely be the same people perpetuating the lies that Hunt "BRUTALIZED" this woman and will seem awfully eager to distort the truth to take a high-profile, high-paying job away from a black man.

I would also like to know what this woman said to him to set him off. He was obviously mad at the start of the video then became really angry about 1/2 way through.

I highly doubt he will be eligible to play this year. He is probably looking at 6-10 games, suspension wise. What sucks is that as a third round pick last year, he probably doesn't have the big funds for a kick ass PR team. They need to get on top of this ASAP, have him issue an apology, while also condemning the woman as a racist.
